Now that the rush of the new year is finally beginning to settle, it’s easier to find some extra head space. The decorations are packed, schedules have opened back up, and a new routine is in place. Still, maintaining an energetic tempo and weaving curiosity and learning into the day can be challenging.

One way to keep momentum and engage with thoughtful dialogue can be listening to podcasts. Morning commutes, weekly meal prep or time at the gym can be enriched by listening to a top-notch episode or two. This is especially true when the content focuses on biblical teaching and spiritual encouragement.

Podcasts are not, of course, substitute for spending time in the secret place or connecting with your local church community. However, they can be a useful, edifying resource like books or worship albums.
